John Sittner

john sittnerJohn joined Crossroads following 13 years in cross-cultural ministry in Mali, West Africa. He serves Crossroads Church as Missions pastor and in Men’s Ministry. “That means I [John] get to be part of a great staff and work with a wonderful group of people, with icing on the cake: getting to know and work with Crossroads’ partners in ministry, here locally, and around the world.”

John and his wife Stephanie first became acquainted with Crossroads while attending Denver Seminary where John earned a M.DIV. While at Seminary they attended several classes with Pastor Kim. Stephanie loves working with recent immigrants to the Denver area. She teaches in Crossroads’ ESL program and works with Crossroads’ sponsored political refugee families. Camping, gardening, and walking their dog, Daisy, along the Platte River – especially when there is snow on the ground – are some of John’s & Stephanie’s favorite activities. Autumn is their favorite season for being in the Rockies. When time permits – and sometimes when it doesn’t – John says that he can be talked into taking a fishing rod to a nearby lake or stream. His real passion is serving people to Jesus: “providing the Gospel to those who have not heard; providing opportunities for those who do not have.”

“If you think that I [John] can serve you in a particular matter, or if you just want to talk missions or men in ministry over a cup of strong coffee, contact me.” john.sittner@crossroadsabc.com.
